What is cold mounting film?

The cold lamination film can make the photo image highly anti-corrosion and anti-ultraviolet erosion. It will last forever, never fade, never yellow, and can increase a strong three-dimensional effect and produce unexpected effects. The difference between cold lamination film, thermal lamination film and plastic film

Cold laminating film is similar to scotch tape. The film is attached to a relatively smooth paper base, which can be peeled off and pasted on the photo with a machine, and there are various sizes and specifications.
Cold lamination film is made of PVC, OPP, CPP, PET and other substrates through adhesive processing. According to the texture of the film surface, it can be divided into glossy film, matte film and protective film with special texture. It is widely used in advertising production. Glossy and matte films. The cold lamination film is laminated on the photo printing screen with a cold laminator and other equipment to prevent the screen (printing surface) from being scratched, polluted or wet, and to protect the screen. No heating is required, and the film can be directly coated on the surface of the printed trademark. The construction is simple and the production efficiency is high.

Hot-mounted film is a new technology in inkjet printing, photo-shooting, photo album production and office culture plastic packaging preservation. Compared with cold-mounted film,  hot-mounted film has the advantages of low cost, no fading after mounting. However, heating is required for lamination. In order to ensure the effect of heating and lamination, the speed is often not too fast. The overall efficiency is lower than that of cold lamination film, and there are certain requirements for equipment.
